Bold Bobo and Shy Shmiley. EPISODE 2: The Cat, the Panic, and the Eleven Seconds of Greatness Shmiley.

For several peaceful days, life for the bunny brothers had been wonderfully uneventful.

Brave Bobo spent his time practicing extremely unnecessary martial arts moves (mostly kicking invisible ninjas).

Shy Shmiley spent his time apologizing to objects he accidentally bumped into — last count: one chair, two plants, and possibly a lampshade.

Everything was quiet.

Too quiet, as Bobo would later claim dramatically

🐾 Then the cat appeared.

It wasn’t even doing anything suspicious.

It simply existed.

But Shy Shmiley reacted as if a dragon had landed in the living room.

Shmiley froze.

His ears flattened.

His internal alarm system activated.

Shmiley: “B-Bobo… it has whiskers.”

Bobo: “So do we.”

Shmiley: “Yes, but its move independently!”

The cat blinked slowly — the kind of blink that says:

I am not planning anything, but I could be persuaded.

🧶 Brave Bobo stepped forward.

He puffed out his chest.

He did his best “warrior stance,” which looked a bit like stretching after a nap.

Bobo: “Stay back. I’ve got this.”

The cat stared at him.

Bobo stared back.

The cat blinked.

Bobo blinked twice.

The standoff was intense. Mostly for the bunnies.

⚡️ And then it happened.

Shy Shmiley — sweet, gentle, anxious Shmiley — suddenly launched into what the family would later call:

THE ELEVEN SECONDS OF GREATNESS

It started with a tiny squeak.

Then he jumped forward.

Then sideways.

Then unintentionally backward.

Then somehow onto Bobo’s head.

For 11 glorious seconds, he was unstoppable.

A blur of courage, confusion, and knitted sweater.

The cat, being emotionally unprepared for such chaos, turned around and walked away in silent dignity.

Shmiley froze again.

Shmiley: “Did I… win?”

Bobo: “Absolutely.”

Shmiley: “Can we never speak of this again?”

Bobo: “We will speak of this at every family gathering.”

🐰❤️ They learned something important that day.

Bobo learned that bravery comes in many forms.

Shmiley learned that sometimes panic is a superpower.

And the cat learned that handmade bunnies are deeply strange creatures and probably not worth the trouble.
