Nimbus never planned to ride a motorcycle.

He found it leaning against a shed near the harbor — small, metal, and clearly abandoned by someone who trusted the wind a little too much.

Nimbus sat on it just to “see how it feels.”

The motorcycle, impressed by such a brave blue passenger, decided to start cooperating.

They became wanderers together.

Nimbus didn’t ride fast.

He didn’t ride far.

He simply followed whichever road seemed quietest.

On foggy mornings the world blurred around him, leaving only the feeling of motion.

On sunny days he would pull over to stare at cliffs or listen to waves.

Sometimes he stopped because the road told him to.

Sometimes because the motorcycle told him to.

(They both needed breaks.)

Nimbus wasn’t chasing a place.

He was chasing a feeling — the one that whispers:

“You’re allowed to start over anywhere.”
